The 39th Annual IHSAA Football State Tournament presented by the Indianapolis Colts moves into sectional finals play on Friday. Colts.com will take a weekly look at players and teams to watch as the tourney advances to the state championship games at Lucas Oil Stadium on Thanksgiving weekend. This week, we feature the Carmel Greyhounds ahead of their Class 5A blockbuster game against Warren Central.
While the outcome was the same as in the season opener, Indianapolis found improvements in its second game. It must continue to do so as Pittsburgh visits this Sunday. Kerry Collins likes the progress and is geared to keep working.
The Colts fell to the Browns Sunday, 27-19, in their home opener. The Colts had scoring drives of 10, 10, 10, nine and 12 plays, but were forced to settle for field goals for their first four scores.
