Game Day News

  • COLTS-BENGALS NOTEBOOK

The Indianapolis running game operated efficiently early on against Bengals. Tight end Dallas Clark made timely catches, and veteran linemen Ryan Diem and Dan Muir returned to their respective units.*

  • MATURATION CONTINUES

Curtis Painter made his third start for the Colts, and it was his sixth career outing. The third-year quarterback continues to mature in the heat of battle while playing the toughest position in sports. The ultimate scoreboard results have not shown it, but his development is evident.*

  • MISCUES HINDER COLTS RALLY

The Colts traveled to meet the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium. The Colts turned in a solid effort offensively and defensively after falling behind 20-7 and were staging a comeback until a blocked field goal and two turnovers staggered them in the fourth quarter. The Bengals won, 27-17. *
